WELCOME!
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization comprising 3,000 chapters. More than 1,000,000 women have joined the organization since it was founded over 125 years ago. They became members to honor their heritage as well as make a difference in their communities across the country and the world.
The Capitol Chapter, NSDAR, is located in the District of Columbia. With our more than 100 members, Capitol Chapter's objective is to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independent and to cherish, maintain, and extend the institutions of American freedom; to foster true patriotism and love of country, and to aid in securing for mankind all the blessings of liberty.
